From Pro to Glo is more than professional development, it’s a collaborative, hands-on camp experience designed to transform and strengthen how you manage, monitor, implement, and evaluate ESEA/ESSA programs.
-
This experience is designed for busy district leaders who need practical results and not theory.
At Camp ESEA, you will:
Work on real challenges from your own program and practice
Present your current practices and receive constructive and structured peer feedback
Strengthen and improve compliance systems and documentation
Collaborate in small, facilitated learning circle groups
Leave with a clear, actionable plan, and strategies to implement and enhance your district’s ESSA programs
-
Not a sit-and-get session. This is an interactive experience focused on your actual responsibilities.
Built around your practice. You bring your work. You refine it. You improve it.
Immediate Application. Everything you do transfers directly back to your district.
As conferences and conventions get larger, Camp ESEA provides a more personalized approach to professional learning. Campers (attendees) will be assigned to a Trailblazer group (i.e. small-group learning circle) with less than 10 participants. Each small group will description have a dedicated “Camp Counselor” to facilitate Campfire Learning Circles. Pre-camp activities: Campers will select from a prioritized list of ESSA focus areas to identify their top three areas of need that will be addressed during the camp session. Camp Counselors will evaluate each camper’s selections to support the creation of an individualized professional learning “Trail Guide”. Campers will arrive at camp ready to present their Pecha Kucha presentation during their Trailblazer group’s Campfire Learning Circle.

Attendees will select a topic of their choice from one of the following example topics for the focus of their PechaKucha presentation.
