Day 3-Parent & Family Engagement Compliance Academy-4/16/2026 from 8:30 am to 4 pm

Day 4-Private Non Profit Compliance Academy-4/17/26 from 8:30 am to 4 pm

Compliance! Where do you start? Ever wish documentation was easier to manage and monitor? This three-day event will provide federal grant administrators, leaders, directors, and business managers with the tools and knowledge to close out the school year and start the new school year with compliance success. Participants will develop and refine their skills to analyze documentation for the essential components and enhance leaders’ understanding of how to meet compliance with a step-by-step process.

Title I Program, Title I Fiscal, Parent & Family Engagement, and Private Non Profit Compliance Academies
Each session will start at 8:30 am and end by 4 pm and be held in San Antonio, TX (in-person).

Day 1- Title I Program Compliance Academy will include training on how to understand, manage, and effectively monitor Title I program compliance documentation for each of the following Title I requirements: Comprehensive Needs Assessment, Schoolwide Plan (D/CIP), Parents' Right to Know, Federal School Report Card, Annual Title I Meeting, School/Parent Compact, School/Parent Compact during Parent/Teacher Conferences, Parent & Family Engagement Policy, Value & Utility of Working with Parents-Staff Training, Title I Program Evaluation, Public Notice of Intent to Apply for ESSA Programs, and Private Non-Profit Schools. Registration costs include a free copy of the book “Compliance by Design” with access to the Digital Documents Drive.

Day 2-Title I Fiscal Compliance Academy will include training on Title I fiscal compliance to include eligibility, Rank & Serve, Comparability, Supplement Not Supplant Methodology, Maintenance of Effort, Procurement, District Reservations, REAP/Transferability, Equitable Services for Private Non-Profit schools Title I allocations, allowable use of funds, Title I budget codes, and much more. Registration costs include a free copy of the book “Title I Fiscal Compliance by Design” with access to the Digital Documents Drive.

Day 3- Parent & Family Engagement Compliance Academy This exciting and innovative training will guide attendees to strengthen their knowledge and understanding of how to manage, implement, and effectively monitor Title I parent and family engagement program compliance documentation for each of the following Title I requirements: Comprehensive Needs Assessment, Schoolwide Plan (D/CIP), Parents' Right to Know, Federal School Report Card, Annual Title I Meeting, School/Parent Compact, School/Parent Compact during Parent/Teacher Conferences, Parent & Family Engagement Policy, Value & Utility of Working with Parents-Staff Training, and Title I Program Evaluation. Additional Title I fiscal topics include: time and effort reporting, allowable/unallowable uses of funds, timeline, checklists, sample job descriptions and work schedules, home visits, Title I and parent meetings, and how to recruit and retain parents and community members for your school/district Comprehensive Needs Assessment and Schoolwide/District/Campus Improvement Plan meetings. Day 4- Private Non Profit Compliance Academy-Are you responsible for managing your district’s Private Non-Profit schools’ equitable services? Are you a private school administrator trying to understand how to access equitable services under the ESEA/ESSA? This two-day academy is designed for your success! The content of this training is based on the book "Private Non-Profit Schools Compliance by Design-How to Manage Equitable Services from Start to Finish". This user-friendly guide provides practical resources in a format that is organized to help any school district or private school administrator to understand all the complex requirements for implementing, managing, monitoring, and evaluating equitable services for Title I, Part A; Title I, Part C; Title II, Part A; Title III; and Title IV, Part A.
